If you have decided you want to celebrate your love and commitment to one another, but without the legalities of being married a Commitment Ceremony may be the perfect Ceremony for you. It is a lovely way to mark your declaration of life-long commitment of love with your partner and a way to share this love with the people who are an important part of your life.
It may be you have chosen to make a big commitment such as moving in together, or moving abroad with your partner or family and want to mark this special occasion and big step in your life together before you leave. You may have decided to get married abroad but wish to have a ceremony for family and friends at home where you can declare your love and the promises you are making to one another before your wedding.
You may have your own reason you have chosen not to legally get married but would like to share the commitment you have made to one another with your family and friends or may have decided to mark your an engagement with a commitment ceremony before planning your wedding, especially if you have chosen to have a long engagement.
You may already be legally married but instead 'renewing your vows' wish to instead 'renew your commitment' to one another if you have come through a particularly difficult time, or just want to remember all the reasons that you chose to spend your lives together. Whatever the reason together we can create a ceremony that reflects your love and your life together.
The ceremony can be held wherever you wish, whether this is indoor or outdoors, in a venue a garden or even a family home. You may want to exchange promise rings which symbolise your commitment and love for one another, and can include the signing of your Commitment Ceremony Certificate within your ceremony, while you may also decide you wish to include a special moment in your ceremony.
We would discuss all of this together and make sure it was the perfect day for you as a couple, celebrating your love and the commitment that you have chosen to make to one another.
'Your Ceremony, Your Way'
Wedding Ceremony - ”We just wanted to say thank you so much for all your hard work leading up to the ceremony! It was wonderful to have you there with us on the day and thought you did a fantastic job. You kept us calm and gave us a chance to build a ceremony which was uniquely ours. We could not have asked for anything better. “
Handfasting Ceremony - “We just want to say a massive thank you for the ceremony and for all your support on the run up to it. All of our guests commented on what a lovely ceremony it was and that it was just perfect for us. You made it a day to remember for us, so thank you! Many thanks Zoe and Dan”.
